The Good Neighbour Project includes 2 Vinnies Fullfill Vans that run 5 days per week. Vans are always a welcome addition to the neighbourhood, visiting 700+ people weekly. The Fairfield run is the busiest with 195 people fed, 170 of these being children.
Another aspect is the Loaves & Fishes project, where school lunches are supplied to over 1400 children a week. By supplying these lunches Vinnies are ensuring that more children come to school and focus better at school. This helps them cement a more successful future and reduces stress on their parents that may struggle to afford school lunches at hard financial times in their lives.
